Township 7 Vineyards and Winery 'Benchmark Series' Pinot Noir, Okanagan Falls, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Youthful, fresh, perfumed.
Made from Burgundian clones 115 and 667 grown in the single Remuda Vineyard in the Okanagan Falls appellation, this fragrant Pinot was aged 12 months in large format oak. According to the winery, 2022 ended up being an excellent vintage for this Pinot, which delivers perfumed raspberry and red cherry, vanilla, licorice, fine spice and tealeaf aromas atop an earthy foundation. The palate is likewise; spicy and earthy with good bones and freshness and texture throughout. Still very youthful overall, worth buying a few and cellaring.
